Good stuff . The 68 "comeback" special was pretty great .
The 77 version is not too shabby, also .
The smashed Elvis, is both funny, and sad .

I remember in the 80's a favorite guitar player of ours, bloated, and chin stuck to his chest ...

the sun recordings are absolutely essential. i saw Million Dollar Quarter on broadway last year, and had a hell of a time being transported back to the '50s. very well done production.
